Haas’ new Formula 1 merchandise crashes website

The Haas Team enthusiastically released new merchandise today. We don’t know if there are any more for sale besides new T-shirts from Guenther Steiner, because the servers crashed. The website has been inaccessible since the announcement of the American team.

The fans of the Steiner-run team are eager, but they have to be patient. Haas showed new T-shirts on social media with famous quotes from the documentary Drive to Survive. Unfortunately, the website has been unavailable for hours.

Guenther destroys the internet

In the afternoon, the team of Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher announced the new merchandise featuring famous Steiner statements.

Later they jokingly reported that it was Steiner who had destroyed the internet. They are still working to get the website back online.

Drive to Survive

“He does not foksmash my door!” is a statement written on one of the T-shirts. Steiner said this to Magnussen following a crash at Silverstone in 2019 after contact with his then teammate Romain Grosjean. This was captured on video for Drive to Survive. The team boss said “We look like a bunch of wankers” in a phone call with owner Gene Haas after problems with the wheelguns in Australia in 2018, but for the T-shirts the team has changed ‘wankers’ into ‘legends’.
