Man attacks cleaning woman who was washing sidewalk in Belo Horizonte

A 50-year-old cleaning woman was pushed to the ground and attacked with water hose jets by a man who was walking along Rua Bernardo Guimarães, in the Lourdes neighborhood, near the Center-South region of Belo Horizonte. The attacks took place last Friday morning (16).

In the images, a man tries to walk along the sidewalk but cannot because the woman is cleaning the place. After the cleaning lady notices him, she stops the water so he can pass, but, unexpectedly, the man attacks her.

According to her, the man approached, talked about the waste of water and attacked her. Before the cleaning lady could explain the situation, he launched the attacks against her.

“He seemed ‘calm’, saying that I was wasting water from the environment. But when I went to explain that it gets dirty there, because it’s the entrance to a garage, he took the hose and started pouring water on me”, said the cleaning lady. . “He didn’t even let me explain what he was doing. Out of nowhere, he splashed water on my face, wouldn’t let me defend myself. Then he pulled the hose, and I fell. He kept splashing and then walked away.”

Until last Friday night (16), the Military Police had not yet found the author of the attacks.
