The Brazilian team will debut in the 2022 World Cup against Serbia, on the afternoon of next Thursday, the 24th, at 4 pm, Brasilia time.

This clash is valid for the first round of Group G of the Qatar World Cup and will take place at the Iconic Stadium in Lusail, which has a maximum capacity of up to 80,000 people.

One of Flamengo’s representatives in the Brazilian national team, striker Pedro sent a message to the fans on the eve of Brazil’s debut in the tournament.

Through his official Twitter account, the Team da Gávea player wrote the following message:

“It took years to give up many things to reach the peak of an athlete’s career: the World Cup. I look back and feel proud of everything. Tomorrow we will take the first step in pursuit of our biggest dream. Gratitude. Resilience. Faith. Job. Dedication”.

Flamengo well represented at the 2022 World Cup

In addition to Pedro, Ribeiro was also another Flamengo athlete called up for the Brazilian national team led by coach Tite.

Giorgian de Arrascaeta and Guillermo Varela will also represent Flamengo in the 2022 World Cup and will defend the colors of Uruguay.

Vinicius Junior, who currently defends , from Spain, and Lucas Paquetá, from West Ham, from England, will wear the shirt of the Brazilian national team.
