Teacher, 7-year-old son and mother die in an accident in Pato Branco; watch video

A family died in a serious accident this Sunday afternoon (27), in Pato Branco, in southwest Paraná. Teacher Marlova Caldarto was driving a Civic car when she was hit at an intersection near Clovo do Patinho. The teacher’s mother and her 7-year-old son were in the vehicle and also died.

According to information from the Fire Department, at the time of the collision, on the corner of Avenida Tupi and Travessa Escolástica Tatoo, Marlova and her mother, Clarinda Caldarto, died on the spot. Little Eric, the teacher’s son, was sent to the hospital in serious condition, but he also did not resist.

The collision was recorded by a resident who was filming a child in her backyard. In the images it is possible to see that the Civic is hit in full, right next to the driver. With the impact, the vehicle was thrown into the backyard of a residence. See the pictures:

Soon after the accident, friends and family of the victims paid their respects on social media. Colleagues of the professor, who taught on a Campus of the Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), lamented the tragic accident.

“Mother, friend, teacher and dedicated researcher. Politically active for just causes, with a strong personality, Marlova was an exemplary woman. Rest in peace, dear colleague Marlova Caldatto, with her son Erick and his mother”, wrote a friend.

Another friend recalled moments with the teacher. “The fellows from Mater Dei da Baixada, the basketball players, unfortunately today you left us and our coffee did not have time to happen. My deepest condolences to the family that lost this feisty person, his mother and son died in the same accident that happened today on Avenida Tupi, God bless ”, she published.
