Marking her name in the history of Brazilian snow sport, skier Aline Rocha won the Gold medal at the Cross-country Ski World Cup, in Östersund, Sweden, this Tuesday (24). Aline goes down in history as the first athlete from Brazil to be champion in snow sports world championships.
The skier, who had already won a bronze medal in the distance race (18km) in this world championship, is now also champion of the sprint race. The Brazilian’s time was 3min10sec38, the American Kendall Gretsch and the German Anja Wicker completed the podium.
And in the men’s event, another medal. Skier Cristian Ribera was also on the podium, winning the bronze medal.
