He is represented in the manga and anime as a small robot called Toribot, who is Toriyama’s alter ego. Toribot occasionally appears in other works by Toriyama, such as Dr. Slump, and is depicted with a gas mask.
According to the definitive Dragon Ball encyclopedia, Daizenshuu 7, written by Toriyama, Toribot is described as the supreme ruler of the Dragon Ball world and far more important than any deity, as he is the creator of everything.
