New Toyota Hilux GR-S 2024: price, consumption, performance

Toyota do Brasil launched the new Toyota Hilux GR-S in the national market, which, in this 2024 line, has changes and improvements.

The suggested price of the new Hilux GT-S R$ 367,390 (March 2023).

The Hilux GR-Sport 2023 maintains the 2.8 turbodiesel engine with variable geometry turbo and intercooler, with 224 hp and 55 Kgfm of torque, associated with a six-speed automatic transmission.

But in this 2023 line it brings changes to improve dynamic behavior, such as gauges 14.4 cm wider on the front axle, and 15.5 cm more on the rear axle.

Ground clearance is now 30.6 cm – 2 cm increase.

With such changes, the Hilux improves stability and reduces body roll, which is generally something of criticism.

Inside, the 2023 Hilux GR-S adopts adaptive autopilot as standard, a multimedia center with a 9” touchscreen, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and six JBL speakers.

Returning to the mechanical changes, the Hilux GR-S has a suspension with altered geometry, monotube shock absorbers with a larger piston diameter and damping capacity, in addition to exclusive springs.

In this 2023 line, the Hilux GR-S gains disc brakes on the rear wheels.

The design of the Toyota Hilux GR-Sport 2023 has a renewed front, with a new grille, new bars in black that overlap the grille.

In dimensional terms, it was maintained, but the size impression, the impression of size, was expanded by the new, more prominent fenders.

There is also a new front bumper, and the colored stickers from the previous model have been removed.
