Man Threatens Witness After Stealing Package: Buffalo Grove PD Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced .

Zachary Tyler Finley, 30, of the 400 block of Diane Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of theft, assault, criminal trespass to real property, and was arrested at 3 pm Nov. 9, in the 300 block of Hawthorne Road. Finley reportedly stole a package in the 300 block of Hawthorne Road and threatened a witness. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 22.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Sarah A. Middendorf, 41, of the 700 block of Aspen Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle, and was arrested at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 9, at McHenry Road and Checker Drive. She was released and was assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
  • Petros K. Katmakis, 37, of the 10 block of Montauk Lane, Vernon Hills, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Nov. 9, in the 16500 block of W Half Day Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
  • Achuth R. Bavisetti, 27, of the 1400 block of Valley Lake Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding, and was arrested at 2: 29 am Nov. 11, in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
