The House of Representatives congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, for the advanced level reached by the Yemeni armed forces, which was reflected in the presentation of the Fifth Military District, Victory Brigades, Navy and Air Forces in Hodeidah.

The Council praised, in its session today, chaired by the Speaker of the Council, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, for the symbolic parade of new naval missiles and weapons that entered service, in addition to long and medium-range missiles capable of striking any hostile targets at sea.

The members of the Council stressed that the majestic military parade was the culmination of the military parades that took place in a number of military regions, which delighted the hearts of the Yemeni people.

They expressed pride and pride in these military achievements, which represent a deterrent force for the invaders and occupiers, and a fortified shield to protect Yemen and defend its sovereignty and unity. The armed forces are the Yemeni army to protect the country and preserve the achievements and capabilities of the Yemeni people.

The council members stressed that the Yemeni armed forces do not pose a threat to anyone who did not conspire against Yemen and the capabilities of the Yemeni people, and do not pose a threat to international navigation in the Red Sea, but they are concerned with protecting Yemen’s sovereignty along the coastal strip.

They renewed the call for the coalition of aggression to seize the opportunity during the remainder of the truce declared under the auspices of the United Nations, and work to stop the aggression and end the siege and occupation, and not to interfere with oil derivatives ships, and to open all Yemeni ports and airports to commercial flights.

During the session, they stressed the importance of adhering to the implementation of the terms of the truce.. They warned against any further aggression of the coalition of aggression in interfering in Yemen’s internal affairs, as this would endanger the truce.. They stressed that the Yemeni armed forces and their defensive capabilities represent the rock on which all the conspiracies and ambitions of the aggression will be crushed. It is also a translation and embodiment of the slogan of the martyr President Al-Sammad, “A hand that protects… a hand that builds.”

The members of the Council stated that these achievements came within the framework of qualitative building of military and defense capabilities and achieving a balance of response and deterrence… stressing that such offers do not occur except under the normal conditions of countries, and not in light of the continuation of aggression and siege for nearly eight years.

They pointed out that the achievement of such achievements comes with the grace of God – the Almighty – while the tools of the mercenaries from the agents of Saudi Arabia and the UAE are fighting and squabbling among themselves after they neglected the unity, sovereignty, security and stability of Yemen. Readiness to achieve complete victory.

The members of the Council expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the Command of the Fifth Military Region and the rest of the other military regions for their efforts to train and rehabilitate the army, leading to presenting these honorable performances.

They reiterated the Parliament’s adherence to an honorable and just peace that preserves Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, security and stability.

At the session, the members of the Council condemned and strongly condemned the cowardly criminal incident, which led to the martyrdom of Judge Muhammad Ahmad Hamran – a member of the Supreme Court, which was committed by criminal gangs.

They also condemned the treacherous criminal incident that targeted a former member of parliament, Abdullah Muhammad al-Kibsi, in front of his house in the capital, Sana’a.

The members of the Council called on the security authorities to assume their responsibility in enhancing public tranquility and quickly referring the perpetrators to the judiciary to receive their deterrent punishment.

They offered their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the slain, Judge Hamran and al-Kibsi, asking the Almighty God to bless them with the power of mercy and forgiveness.

In the session, the House of Representatives heard from the Minister of State for Parliament and Shura Affairs, Dr. Ali Abu Haliqa, his message regarding the withdrawal of the draft law on the private and specialized private education institution, an alternative to Republican Resolution No. (11) of 1999 AD, at the request of the Prime Minister, and the Council agreed At the request of the government to withdraw the bill.

In addition, the House of Representatives approved a number of recommendations contained in the report of the joint committee from the committees: Commerce and Industry – Public Health and Population – Water and Environment – Development, Oil and Mineral Resources – Services – Financial Affairs, regarding the issues included in the minutes of the Parliament in its session on Shawwal 20, 1443 AH. Corresponding to May 21, 2022 AD, regarding the recommendations of the Committees on Commerce and Industry, Public Health and Population.

This came after the commitment of the government side, represented by the Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mansour and Dr. Ali Jahaf, as well as the commitment of the Deputy Minister of Industry, Ahmed Muhammad Al-Shawtry.

The Council will continue its discussion of the rest of the recommendations contained in the report until the presence of the rest of the concerned ministers who apologized for not being able to attend today’s session due to their preoccupation with other tasks and work outside the capital.

The Council had started its session by reviewing and approving its previous minutes, and will conduct its business sessions tomorrow, Sunday, God willing.

The session was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Bassam Al-Gharbani, the President of the Supreme Authority for Medicines, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghaili, and a number of specialists in the relevant authorities.
