Today, Monday, the Théâtre du Châtelet in the French capital, Paris, will host the 2022 Ballon d’Or, presented by France Football magazine.

Contending for the prestigious award given to the world’s best player, 30 players, the nominees were already announced last August.

The Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, the winger, is in the list of players nominated for the 2022 Ballon d’Or award.

Mohamed Salah had won the sixth place in the Golden Ball award for 2018, and fifth place in 2019, before the award was withheld in 2020 due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, and then he ranked seventh last year.

The most prominent nominees for the award this year are striker Karim Benzema, striker Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich winger Sadio Mane, and star Cristiano Ronaldo.
