Social media announced the news of the death of journalist Allam Abdel Ghaffar, deputy editor-in-chief of the seventh day and head of the provincial department, at the age of 35, after a struggle with illness that lasted for several weeks.
Who is Allam Abdel Ghaffar?
He is the son of Fayoum Governorate, Allam Abdel Ghaffar, born in 1988. He joined the various educational stages until he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Cairo University – Department of Journalism, with a very good general grade. And the media, where he started his work with “The Seventh Day” in August 2008, and became a member of the Journalists Syndicate as an intern in June 2011, until he obtained membership in the Syndicate in the workers’ list in June 2012.
Positions held by Allam Abdel Ghaffar
Allam Abdel Ghaffar held the position of deputy head of the provincial department on the seventh day from 2010 until July 2015, then head of the television and press department in the newspaper from August 2018 to June 2019, until he was appointed head of the provincial department in June 2019 until his death.
In the field of television and satellite channels, he held several positions, including, preparing a program every day on January 25, 2011 channel, editor-in-chief of the Open Door program on Dream Channel 2012, and managing editor of the well-known program Al-Hakam after Practice on OSN channels – An-Nahar 2010. He also worked as a preparer on the Sabah Al-Balad program with the media. Dina Ramez” on Sada Al-Balad channel 2011-2013.
