Tomorrow, Sunday, the House of Representatives will discuss, during its plenary session chaired by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, three new draft laws to alleviate the suffering of citizens by increasing shifts, pensions, and allowances for doctors, teachers, and faculty members, as it discusses the draft law submitted by the government regarding accelerating the due date for periodic bonuses, and granting bonuses. Especially for those who are not addressed by the Civil Service Law, increasing additional incentives for state workers, deciding a special grant for workers in public sector companies and the public business sector, increasing civil and military pensions, amending some provisions of Law No. 415 of 1954 regarding the practice of the medical profession, and amending some provisions of the law regulating the affairs of members Medical professions working in agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Population who are not addressed by special laws or regulations promulgated by Law No. 14 of 2014, amending some provisions of Law No. 212 of 2020 amending some provisions of the Education Law promulgated by Law No. 139 of 1981 and Law No. 103 of 1961 regarding the reorganization of Al-Azhar and the bodies it includes.
The second of these laws is the draft law submitted by the government amending some provisions of Law No. 58 of 1978 regarding mayors and sheikhs.
The draft law aims to confront the emerging circumstances, as the practical reality showed the need to amend some provisions related to the disciplinary affairs of mayors and sheikhs, to ensure the necessary flexibility for the convening of committees specialized in examining the affairs of mayors and sheikhs, and all this to achieve more discipline in their performance to reach the integration of security performance. .
The third law that will be discussed tomorrow is the draft law submitted by the government regarding legalizing the conditions of unlicensed industrial establishments, and the draft law submitted by Representative Shehata Abu Zaid (and more than a tenth of the members of the Council) on the same subject.
The draft law aims to open the door for unlicensed industrial establishments of all kinds to reconcile their status in order to remedy the legislative vacuum that occurred after the end of the work of Article 3 of Law No. 15 of 2017, by issuing a law facilitating the procedures for granting licenses for industrial establishments, given the importance of adjusting the status of these establishments in Increasing the official labor force, in addition to being an addition to the national economy, which helps support industrial development plans and deepen local industrialization.
