Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, responded to the criticism of former US President Donald Trump, after he described Diana with obscene words in his new book, “Letters to Trump.”
Charles Spencer, through his Twitter account, expressed his dissatisfaction with Trump’s insult to his sister, noting that he had only heard Diana speak of Trump when he used her name to sell real estate in New York City.
“Diana considered him even worse than the insults he used,” Spencer said.
Trump had previously spoken about Diana, describing her in disgraceful terms, and addressing her sexual health, according to the Daily Mail.
Trump said in two different interviews that he was going to have a relationship with Princess Diana, but before that she had to undergo an HIV test.
For his part, researcher in the affairs of the royal family, Christopher Anderson, denied Trump’s allegations, stressing that he tried in every way to reach Diana after her divorce from King Charles in 1996.
In a new book to be released next month, the former US president plans to reveal 150 private messages sent to him by well-known personalities, including one from Oprah Winfrey.
The matter concerns messages, some of which are up to 40 years old, from heads of state, members of royal families, celebrities, and senior businessmen.
In each message, Trump adds a photo and his own comment on the text and its author.
Among them, Trump will display messages from Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Princess Diana, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Kimjong Un and Oprah Winfrey.
The former US president said that he is expected to be arrested next Tuesday in New York State.
Trump wrote, in his account on his social platform, “Truth Social” (Truth Social) on Saturday morning, “The main Republican candidate and former president of the United States of America will be arrested on Tuesday. Demonstrate! Take back our country!”, speaking of a “leak” of information from the Attorney General’s office in Manhattan.
The Manhattan district attorney’s office is looking into criminal charges against the former president related to paying a porn star during the Trump campaign in 2016 in return for silence about an alleged affair between them.
Trump described those trying to arrest him as “deeply corrupt and politicized,” stressing that the alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels is “a whole old fairy tale.”
And if the accusations against Trump are proven true, he will become the first former president to face criminal charges.
