The board of directors of Zamalek Club will hold a meeting at 6:00 pm tomorrow, Sunday, to discuss the reasons for the loss of the white team from the Algerian youth of Belouizdad in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League, and bid farewell to the championship.
The coaching staff of the Zamalek team, led by the Portuguese Josevaldo Ferreira, took the first decision after the team’s delegation returned this morning, Saturday, to Cairo from Algeria, after playing the Algerian Belouizdad youth match in the fifth round of the group stage matches of the African Champions League.

The Portuguese Josevaldo Ferreira, coach of Zamalek, requested a full report from the medical staff led by Dr. Mohamed Osama to check on the condition of the injured, led by Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, who suffers from a cold and was absent because of it from attending group training, in addition to Mohamed Abdel Shafi’s injury to the face of the foot.
Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, player of the Zamalek team, is close to returning to group training for Zamalek, especially since he was undergoing continuous medical examinations throughout the last period under the supervision of the medical staff of the white team, who reassured the technical staff of the player’s condition and stability.
Josevaldo Ferreira, the technical director of the Zamalek team, is studying the escalation of a number of young faces in the team during the coming period to rely on them in the League Cup matches in order to achieve more than one goal, the first of which is to stand on their level and their ability to perform under pressure.
