The Arab Contractors challenge Haras El Hodood today in the League Cup round of 16

The Arab Contractors team will meet, at 5:00 pm today, Sunday, the Haras El Hodood team at Othman Ahmed Othman Stadium in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, within the framework of the 16th round of the Egyptian Football Clubs League Cup in its second edition.

And Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the Arab Contractors team, reviewed the previous matches of the Haras El Hodood team in the league to study it in detail, and corrected the mistakes that the Contractors’ players made during the last 3 matches in the league specifically, so that the mountain wolves received 3 consecutive defeats, against Pharco, then Al-Ahly and finally Smouha, which sounded the alarm in Al Jabal Al Akhdar Castle, after a series of positive results achieved by the team before those three matches.

Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the Arab Contractors, confirmed that his team does not depend on one star, and that there is a shortcoming in translating opportunities into goals. Throughout the minutes of the match, the loss of Smouha served as a lesson for the Arab Contractors players. We played with offensive pressure for long periods in front of a good team that included distinguished players.

On the other hand, the technical staff of the Border Guard team, led by Ahmed Ayoub, decided to make some adjustments in the formation of the guard in front of the Arab Contractors, as Ayoub begins to form a component of Ahmed Al-Saadani in the goalkeeper and defense line: Muhammad Reda, Mahmoud Bin Wali, Ibrahim Al-Qadi, Ahmed Shadid Qinawi. And the midfield: Mustafa Gamal, Ahmed Felix, Mustafa Sobhi, with Valentin, Mustafa Zico and Emmanuel leading the attack.

Ahmed Ayoub, the coach of Haras al-Hodood, believes that his team has all the elements to survive in the Premier League, explaining that he trusts the players’ abilities and experiences despite the suffering in recent weeks, after the balance of victories stopped at only 3 matches this season.
