A group of vacationers have decided to file a complaint against a tour operator for broken promises, reports Le Parisien. More than 80 families were allegedly cheated by the Valbuenux agency, which promised on Snapchat and Instagram superb holidays in Egypt, Dubai, Istanbul, or even Zanzibar, at unbeatable prices. But now, the dream trip turned into a nightmare for more than 150 people.

Farah and her family paid 4,500 euros for 10 days in a 5-star hotel in Egypt. However, after four days there, the hotel reception contacts them to check-out and pay the bill. The cold shower for the small family, who had already seen their departure postponed for two days and their hotel changed once there. Vacationers then turn to the French Embassy and land in front of the court in Hurghada. “A mediation is carried out, but he refuses to reimburse us for our entire stay and the additional costs incurred”, deplores the mother of the family, who estimates the damage at 8,600 euros (hotel nights and return tickets included).
