MTB – CDM – Val di Sole 2022

The downhill track

Val di Sole’s “black snake” is renowned for its brutality. It is the steepest route on the calendar with an average gradient of 22% and peaks of 40%. The track is 2.1 km long and 540 m of difference in height It is challenging for athletes as well as for bikes.

The cross country track

It is more forgiving than the downhill one. Roots and rocks invite themselves despite everything in the climbs and descents. And some wooded sections represent major technical challenges.

The route also includes a large part of the Four Cross track from the 2021 World Championships. In total, the route is 4.3km long with a total drop of 190m.
