The fourth film in the After saga is finally available to fans on Prime Video. And this new installment pays tribute to a member of the franchise team.

Available on Prime Video, After Ever Happy is the new installment in the steamy saga for young adults. After: Chapter 4 marks the return of Tessa and Hardin for a new twist in their tumultuous and toxic relationship.

The two lovebirds embodied by Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin are at a crossroads: should Tessa work hard to save Hardin and their relationship or is it time for her to save herself?

After her mother’s wedding, Hardin stays in London and darkens even more, while Tessa returns to Seattle and deals with tragedy. If they want their love to survive, they will first have to work on themselves. Will their paths lead them to each other?

Tribute to a team member

In addition to the evolution of the love story between Tessa and Hardin and the many twists and turns, After: Chapter 4 is marked by a sad sequence. The film ends with a tribute to a member of the After team, who has worked on the franchise from the start. This is Chad Rosen, the first assistant director of the four After films available to date.

On the end card is written the following statement: “In loving memory of our kind and brave member of our ‘After’ family”.

The fifty-year-old man died in 2021. His death deeply marked the franchise team, in particular Castille Landon, the director of After 3 and After 4, who had already paid tribute to him on his account. Instagram:

“Devastated by the loss of a valued friend, colleague and pillar of the After family, Chad Rosen. I wonder if he knew how much of an impact he had on my life, or the lives of so many others , or if he knew how much we all loved and appreciated him.”

In addition to the After saga, Chad Rosen was first assistant director on Kaboom by Gregg Araki, the series Paradise City or the film Sierra Burgess is a loser.
