The time has come for Blood of Us, a Valencian band of Doom, Gothic, Progressive Metal and even Death in its beginnings that has been operating since the end of 2006. They began uploading their songs on Soundcloud and in August of that year they began searching for a bassist and drummer. to replace the founding Conrad Malavé. Alfredo Alfonzo was also left behind, who gave the baton to JM.
The ownership of the band has ultimately been made up of JM -vocals, drums, synthesizers and keyboard programming, as well as sole lyricist-, Carlos Damiano (guitars) and Francesco Antonelli (drums, bass, keyboards and piano programming; producer and in charge of mixing and mastering). For additional voices they have had in the recording studio Edelita -on both albums-, G. Cambria and I. Vecchini -only on the first one-.
After having the pleasure of adapting Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’, they undertook the preparation of a debut dated October 2020. The first single from ‘Here Comes the Fall’ -‘The storm we caused’ for a short period of time- It was precisely ‘The fall’. The next songs of a total of eight to be promoted were titled ‘Fades to gray’ and ‘I rise’. After them came the video clip for ‘We all turn to dust’. As a curious fact, two compositions from that time were recovered from the first twelve of their past formation.
Already in May 2021 they began to prepare their second production: ‘La Vera’, which finally became a reality in November of last year. After the preview of ‘Ex-203’, the single that they are currently spreading is ‘My own mind’. We are once again faced with eight tracks full of darkness, introspection and a sometimes obsessive atmosphere.
