Candidate 1: Fritz Meinecke (approval)
Unsurprisingly, the creators of the format and participants in the first season begin the list of participants: Fritz Meineke. In countless videos on the subject of outdoor and survival, the 33-year-old was not only able to entertain his community, but also to provide helpful and useful tips.
The fact that he was one of the last three survivors of the first season only confirms that Meinecke must not be missing in the coming season either.
Candidate 2: Robert Marc Lehmann (cancelled)
The second in the group is the YouTuber and marine biologist Robert Marc Lehmann, who, according to Meinecke, is one of the most experienced participants. Lehmann is an experienced diver, photographer and cameraman and also a marine biologist.
updates: During a live stream on June 24, 2022 (members only), Robert Marc Lehmann announced that he could not accept the invitation to 7 vs. Wild Season 2. The reason for this is his own project in the jungle that he started planning more than two years ago.
It is currently unclear who will take the place of Robert Marc Lehmann. However, since the timeframe for production seems to have been more or less concretely fixed, the organizational team should now be under pressure to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
The decision has since been published as a video on Marc Robert Lehmann’s YouTube channel.
Candidate 2: Ottogerd Karasch (commitment)
The Ex-Elite Soldier, Entrepreneur & Executive Coach Otto Karasch follows in the footsteps of Robert Marc Lehmann, who is due had to cancel appointment commitments.
Karasch was a regular soldier for a total of 12 years, seven of them as a paratrooper. Among other things, he belonged to the special parachute platoon “Specialized Unit EGB” and was deployed in Afghanistan in the cities of Kundus, Mazar-e Sharif and Kabul.
For his efforts, Otto Karasch was awarded the Cross of Honor in Gold excellent. The YouTuber and survival pro is currently more active Reservist and reserve officer candidate in the army. Of particular interest for Season 2 of 7 vs. Wild is the fact that Karasch already has extensive jungle experience in Venezuela and Brazil.
The former elite soldier has already completed the following courses:
- Lone fighter course part 1
- Lone fighter course part 2
- Combat-Survival course with “Resistance to Interrogation” (preparation for interrogation in prison)
- Battle in difficult terrain
- Fast Rope Repelling (“Fast roping is a faster technique than abseiling and involves a person (not attached to a descender) holding onto the rope with gloved hands and sliding down. This can be a dangerous operation, especially if the person is a bears a heavy burden.”)

- Free fall and automatic jumping instructor
Candidate 3: Sabrina Outdoor (commitment)
In his video about the participants, Meinecke explains that it was important to him and the organizational team to have at least one woman with them in the second season. For this reason, the choice of Sabrina Outdoor be quite appropriate. The young woman owns her own piece of forest and explains topics related to survival and nature in various videos on her YouTube channel.
updates: Although Sabrina Outdoor has already published a video on her YouTube channel that is exclusively about the 2nd season of 7 vs. Wild, it ends with a decent cliffhanger. Your participation should also be confirmed shortly.
On June 20, the young woman published a second video on her channel, in which she expressed her respect for the format, but also officially confirmed her participation. With the commitment of Sabrina Outdoor and StarletNova, at least two women are on board for Season 2 of 7 vs. Wild. If the wild card also goes to a woman, there will even be three participants.
Candidate 4: Jens “Knossi” Knosalla (commitment)
The streamer is likely to be the biggest surprise in the potential field of participants Jens “Knossi” Knosalla represent. After all, at first glance, the 35-year-old doesn’t really fit into a survival format like 7 vs. Wild. But Knossi had already asked to participate in advance and, according to his own statement, was really up for it. According to Meinecke, Knossi could primarily provide entertainment in the second season.
Whether Knossi will really take part has not yet been confirmed. On Instagram within a story, however, the streamer has already asked his son if he should survive on an island for a week. The answer was positive, now only dad has to say yes.
updates: Meanwhile, Knossi has made his decision live in a stream announced and reveal whether the at 7 vs Wild Season 2 will be there.
Candidate 5: Sascha Huber (commitment)
It continues with one of the most well-known fitness YouTubers: Sasha Huber. Anyone who deals with health, fitness or weight training should hardly be able to avoid the likeable Austrian on YouTube. Huber has already been asked for the first season, but declined to take part. After following the format, however, he started his own experiment and went into the forest for 24 hours with only the most necessary equipment.
His participation has not yet been confirmed.
updates: Yesterday, Thursday, June 23, 2022, Sascha Huber announced on Instagram that he will announce the decision on his Twitch channel as to whether or not he will be part of 7 vs. Wild Season 2. The live stream started at 8 p.m., but is not yet available as VoD (video-on-demand). However, we estimate that the corresponding excerpt (or one of our own) will soon be published on Sascha Huber’s YouTube channel. In the stream, Huber officially confirmed his participation after canceling Season 1.
Candidate 6: StarletNova (commitment)
In addition to Sabrina Outdoor, the Twitch streamer would be StarletNova the second woman in the ranks of participants. As Meinecke explains in his video, StarletNova used to be in the Boy Scouts, so she would fit in well with the format. StarletNova has promised a response to the invitation for Sunday, June 19th.
updates: StarletNova now has the invitation within a live stream as well in a separate video on YouTube officially adopted.
Candidate 7: Joris (acceptance)
Eventually one will wildcard raffled, which is why it is not yet known with whom the troupe will be completed. All information about this and how you can apply, we have summarized them for you in this post.
