Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf meet again in a duel – at least almost, because they actually send their teams into the proverbial ring to decide the championship for “The duel around the world”.

The prominent participants of the two teams have to face daring tasks in foreign countries, collect points and help their team captain to victory. The live show will be moderated by Jeannine Michaelson, who has been with the format since the first show in 2012.

In the “Duel around the World” on March 18, there are actresses Nilam Farooq, Wigald Boning, and Jessica Schwarz and Sasha with you. “The duel around the world – Team Joko versus Team Klaas”: That’s the principle of the game

The German game show “Das Duell um die Welt” has been running on Pro Sieben since 2012, with the two moderators Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf – better known as the duo Joko and Klaas – competing. In the first seasons, Joko and Klaas traveled to different countries themselves and solved suitable tasks both there and in the studio.

Since the sixth season (2018), however, the two show hosts no longer travel themselves, but send prominent representatives into the world. However, they still play the studio games themselves. Since then, the title of the show has been “The duel around the world – Team Joko versus Team Klaas”.
