The manager of the Torres del Paine Association of Hotels and Tourist Services, Sara Adema Yusta, expressed her satisfaction with the important awards that HYST members have received during the last six months.

Through their efforts, and together with the joint work with Sernatur, they have managed to transform this region into a world-class destination, a place where natural beauty is mixed with the excellence and quality of its tourist services”, commented Sara Adema.
He added that, “Magallanes is a unique place in the world, where nature is presented at its best and where responsible tourism is a priority. For years, HYST’s partners, together with Sernatur, have worked to make this region a place where visitors can experience Patagonia in its purest and most authentic state. Today we can proudly say that Magallanes is a destination that attracts travelers from all over the world in search of adventure, beauty and authentic experiences”.

Recognitions and nominations
Regarding the awards received, the HYST manager recalled that, in December, Tierra Patagonia was awarded as the best hotel in South America in “The Gold List 2023” by Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
To this was added Reserva Las Torres, which in April was awarded for Responsible Tourism in the category “Best initiatives for nature conservation” in the third edition of WTM Latin America.
Meanwhile, this week Patagonia Camp received first place in the Out of the Ordinary Hotel category, which is awarded exclusively to hotels that pass the rigorous standards of trust and safety established by Tripadvisor.
Tripadvisor’s Traveler Choice 2023 also awarded Lago Grey, a hotel that was recognized among the 10% of the best in the world.
Finally, Sara Adema Yusta highlighted the nomination Reserva Las Torres, the only Chilean organization that nominates for the World Travel Awards, in the South America’s Responsible Tourism Award and South America’s Leading Green Hotel categories, for its commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. , voting that ends in July.
