With the aim of reducing accidents and guaranteeing safe traffic in the city, the Municipality of Santa Rosa, through the Traffic Directorate and in collaboration with the Provincial Police, carried out various control and control tasks from September 11 to 17. prevention.
469 vehicles were controlled (303 automobiles and 166 motorcycles) and 96 verification reports were carried out, 45 provisional reports, 72 vehicle retention reports (44 cars and 37 motorcycles), 18 license retentions (seven for positive alcohol tests), 16 tickets summons of the accused and 342 blood alcohol measurements (seven positive).
As a continuation of the control devices on public roads for free or irregular exhaust pipes, 35 reports were issued for violation of the current ordinances that regulate the noise limits and polluting elements of combustion vehicles.
Safe crossing of the center lane at the intersection of Illia and Tello Avenues was guaranteed through systematization and traffic lights.
To complete the tasks, the speed reduction device on Avda. Perón was continued weekly and coverage was provided to asphalt road works, sewer and water network, in addition to entry and exit to the school environment.
