Vampires, Zombies, Witches and all kinds of creatures come together on one of the longest nights of the year in which it is important to sharpen your cunning and ingenuity if you want to survive the fearsome games they have prepared. Here the strongest does not win but the most intelligent and this improvised mausoleum is loaded with all kinds of challenges that only the bravest will be able to solve.
“Sleepless Night” promises twelve uninterrupted hours of board games. The event organized by the Zaragoza City Council will open its doors this Saturday, September 23 in the Multipurpose room of the Auditorium delighting the thousands of fans who are expected to pass by. Last year this event, the largest in Aragon for board games, attracted 5,400 people in the same night, and in this edition it hopes to break a record with 210 tables and 900 games.
The Youth Councilor, Ruth Bravo, has presented this new edition that has 30% more activities compared to last year and that It will be held between 5:00 p.m. and five in the morning on Saturday. “Not only have we increased the number of activities, but we doubled the number of role-playing games and multiplied the escape room sessions by four,” commented the mayor, who pointed out that This year an extra effort has been made given the good reception of this event, which seeks to promote alternative leisure among the youngest.
There will be an endless number of alternative board and role-playing games, which comprise a repertoire of European games that are beginning to arrive in Spain in the nineties. “They are games that are not so based on chance and numbers, which is what until now has been the norm in Spanish and North American board and social games (MB, Mattel, etc.), but rather in resource management, strategy and negotiation, values that in our opinion encourage interaction and socialization much more”he has indicated.

Throughout the day, The main playroom will be open (free loan of games) and in the afternoon the children’s and family playroom and the XL outdoor play area will be open. with a limited space, dedicated to the little ones and families, given the high demand in the early afternoon for games for these ages. Besides, There will be an extensive program of tournaments, demonstrations and game exhibitions, game presentation, interactive setting, etc.
The event is organized by the “Club Tercios” association and the Youth Zones of Juslibol, Actur, Arrabal, San Gregorio, Miralbueno, San José, Casablanca, La Jota, Santa Isabel and Valdespartera, belonging to the Youth Service of the Zaragoza City Council.
