After protests in Iran: Mullah judiciary also wants to execute these men | politics

For the first time since the beginning of the recent mass unrest in Iran, the death penalty has been officially carried out on a demonstrator. The mullahs cling to power with violence.

Tehran (Iran) – The killing has begun: The Iranian mullahs hanged the young demonstrator Mohsen Shekari (23) – just because he demonstrated against the Islamist regime and for freedom!

► He was charged with blocking a road and assaulting a “security officer”. Absurd: In the Iranian penal code, this is considered a “war against God”. He was convicted on November 25, hanged in Tehran after just 18 days.

Dramatic: The regime is already planning new murders!

► Five other demonstrators were sentenced to death in mock trials, including the medic Dr. Hamid Ghare-Hassanlou, Ali Moazami and the three rappers Toomaj Salehi, Saman Yasin and Behrad Ali Konari.

They too could be hanged at any time!

Lawyer and Iran expert Shoura Hashemi (40) doesn’t believe it’s a coincidence. Because: By Wednesday evening, a general strike had paralyzed Iran, which once again made the protest against the regime clear. “I believe that the regime now wants to get down to business, they want to bring these protests to an end,” she told BILD, referring to the first execution of a protester.

► Amnesty International estimates that at least 28 other people, including three 17-year-olds, are next at risk of death for their involvement in the demonstrations. According to judges’ decisions, a total of eleven people are already at risk of execution.

Hashemi warns in BILD: “If the international community doesn’t act now and if there aren’t very concrete signs against the Islamic regime, then further executions will be easy to spot.”

She calls for a strong reaction from the EU to the murder of the demonstrators: “Now it is very important that the EU reacts and now that the Revolutionary Guard is finally being put on the EU terror list. There is enough evidence for that.”

► Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (41) condemned the execution. “The Iranian regime’s contempt for human beings knows no bounds,” Baerbock wrote on Twitter on Thursday. Schekari was “judged and executed in a perfidious summary procedure because he disagreed with the regime’s opinion.” However, the threat of execution will not stifle people’s desire for freedom.

The mullahs’ judiciary has announced a tough course in the face of the protests. In parliament, too, members of parliament called for deterrent sentences, including the death penalty, for the thousands of detained protesters. A massacre is imminent.

Human rights activists estimate that at least 470 demonstrators have been killed and more than 18,000 arrested since mid-September.

According to Amnesty International, Iran is one of the countries that issue and execute the highest number of death sentences in the world. For the year 2021, the human rights organization had documented a total of 314 executions in Iran. At least 250 people were executed in the first six months of this year alone.
