“Star Wars” tragedy: actor dies at 56 – People

The film franchise about the Skywalker family inspires numerous fans. “Star Wars” lovers are now mourning the loss of one of the actors.

Paul Grant (56) was in front of the camera together with Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill in the classic film “Return of the Jedi”. Back then he slipped into a hairy costume and embodied one of the popular, plush Ewoks. The triple paper died suddenly at the age of 56.

Speaking to The Sun, the family confirmed the tragic loss. Grant is said to have been found by police on Thursday afternoon after being found at Kings’ Cross railway station. A short time later, the actor was declared brain dead at the hospital. His relatives now had to make a difficult decision and decided to stop life-sustaining measures.

Daughter Sophie Jayne Grant (28) says: “I’m devastated. My father was a legend in so many ways.” Her father put a smile on everyone’s face and would have given anything for everyone, says the 28-year-old. His girlfriend Maria Dwyer (64) also finds touching words for the deceased: “Paul was the love of my life. The funniest man I know. He made my life complete. Life will never be the same without him.”

It was previously known that Grant’s life had gotten out of hand. In 2014, he was photographed snorting white powder off a newspaper. It was also known that he spent his fee on drugs and alcohol. After the failure of his marriage, he himself announced that he had reached the bottom of his life.
