A new concept of stores for the sale of motorcycles.

Waldo’s Dólar Mart de México (“Waldo’s”) inaugurated its first stores dedicated exclusively to the sale of motorcycles under the Waldo’s Motos concept.

Since 2022, the Mexican company has ventured into the motorcycle sales business within its Waldo’s stores and on Waldos.com.mx

“With the inauguration of the new Waldo’s Motos, we seek to improve the mobility of more Mexicans who are in the different communities where we have a presence, by offering purchase options with accessible credits so that they can finance their purchase.” mentioned Jorge Osorio, director of New Businesses.

Currently, these vehicles can be found in 160 branches throughout the country and the goal for November of this year is to reach 300 branches where these vehicles are offered, in addition to the new Waldo’s Motos stores.

At Waldo’s Motos you can find more than 30 models of motorcycles that have efficient engines, fuel efficiency and a guarantee of service and quality and for different uses such as home delivery, entertainment or mobility.

Waldo’s ventured into the motorcycle market a year ago, so it seeks to consolidate this part of its business through its new openings.

According to data from the National Institute of Geography and Statistics (INEGI), more than 4 million motorcycles currently circulate in Mexico. According to reports from the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA), last year the sale of motorcycles exceeded that of cars, which is why the market is attractive for the company.

The new branches of Waldo’s Motos will be located in municipalities of Bajío, West and Southeast of the country. These new formats are part of the company’s expansion plan, which plans to reach 1,000 Waldo’s stores in the next two years.

Waldo’s Dólar Mart de México, is the largest dollar store chain in the country, born in Tijuana Baja California in 1999, belongs to two Mexican families and the international investment fund ACON Invensments.

Waldo’s has 9,000 direct employees, generates at least 20,000 indirect jobs throughout the country, and serves almost 90 million Mexicans each year.
