The police are urgently looking for 24-year-old Thomas Nelom from Drunen. He is suspected of having shot at someone on a terrace in the center of Tilburg in the night of Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 June. The police urgently ask him to report and ask anyone who has a suspicion or knows where he is staying to immediately share this with the police.
In this shooting on Sunday 12 June at 00.20 a 29-year-old Tilburger was injured when he was shot in the leg on the Heuvelring. Police officers rushed to see two men fleeing soon after. One of the men, a 22-year-old man from Drunen, was immediately arrested and is still in custody. Despite the police firing a warning shot, the other man managed to escape. A firearm was later found on his escape route. This has been confiscated.
