Accident leaves one trapped in hardware at the same intersection that registered death this week

An accident recorded this Friday morning (2/12) at the intersection of Monte Alegre and Benjamin Constant streets left a person trapped in the vehicle’s hardware. The fact was recorded at the same point as on the 28th, the accident resulted in the death of elderly Carmen Eloah Pastorello Alcocer, 65 years old -remember here-.

The collision involved a black Ford Fiesta vehicle and a Van.

According to initial information, the driver of the Ford Fiesta, whose name has not yet been released, was taking Rua Benjamin Constant, when he would not have respected the preferential and invaded Rua Monte Alegre. He was trapped in the hardware and was rescued by the Fire Department and sent to the hospital. There are still no details about the health of the man.

Information about the driver of the Van has not yet been released.

Remember the fatal accident at the intersection

Carmen Eloah Pastorello Alcocer, aged 65, died after an accident at the intersection of Benjamin Constant and Monte Alegre streets, in Dourados.

According to police information, the victim was with her husband, Marcos Julio Caruzo Alcocer, 62 years old. Both are from São Paulo, but lived in England and came to Mato Grosso do Sul to visit Bonito.

The victims were in a rented vehicle and were returning from Bonito, when they decided to sleep in a hotel in Dourados, before continuing their trip to São Paulo.

They were traveling in a Fiat Argo vehicle along Benjamin Constant Street, when they did not observe the “Stop” signage and crossed Monte Alegre Street, the preferred route.
The vehicle was picked up by a Mitsubishi Pajero, driven by a 42-year-old doctor. The biggest impact occurred on the side where Carmen was.
