Rumor overview: who are the last 2 headliners of Graspop 2023?

Graspop 2023 will be another big one. Just like last edition, the Belgian metal meeting will take place over four days. Which acts will be at the top of the festival’s poster next summer? This is an overview of the strongest rumors.

Among more than a hundred other acts, the first six headliners for Graspop 2023 have been announced: Ghost on Thursday 15 June, Gojira on Friday 16 June, Slipknot and Parkway Drive on Saturday 17 June, and Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe on Sunday 18 June. So we are still looking for two headliners: one for Thursday and one for Friday. These are the biggest rumors.

Guns N’ Roses

Guns N’ Roses are far from over. During a radio interview, Slash came up with some fun new information about the band. He would like to record a new album, but the band also has a few songs ready for a release. It doesn’t stop there. The guitarist also said that they have another tour planned for next summer. The first performance has already been announced: on Friday 30 June, Axl Rose & co. at BST Hyde Park 2023 in London. Will Guns N’ Roses come to Graspop two weeks earlier?

KISS

Kiss has topped Graspop’s poster four times before, most recently in 2019. And the iconic rock band will be on tour again in 2023. In fact, at exactly the right time, the foursome is nearby. From June 17, the group from Detroit will perform a number of shows in Germany, making Thursday, June 15 in particular an excellent opportunity for a performance in Dessel. Let Graspop just miss a headliner on that day…

Avenged Sevenfold

In 2022 there were a number of cancellations. Avenged Sevenfold was scheduled to headline, but eventually had to cancel. The reason for this was that the 8th album of the American band was not yet finished. According to singer M. Shadows, they are still finalizing, but A7X expects after that “to be firing on all cylinders.” Does that mean a return to Dessel in 2023?

Faith No More

Faith No More

Faith No More also canceled a headline show at Graspop in 2022. In an interview with Rolling Stone, singer Mike Patton is candid about the mental issues he’s been struggling with since the pandemic. In December he will do some shows with his other band Mr. Bungle, to see what the touring life is like. Who knows, maybe he’ll get the taste again after that. In any case, the European festivals will be more than happy to welcome Faith No More again.

AC/DC

Now we are treading on thin ice. Actually, there are rumors about AC/DC every year. The current story is that the legendary rock band is coming to Spain for one or two shows in June 2023, suggesting a bigger tour. It rarely happens that such a big act travels to the other side of the world for just a few shows. Seeing is believing, but the Australians would of course be the ultimate Graspop headliner.
