Esperança Pereira, participant of “The Price Right”, could take home the award for Viral Moment of the Year. In November, the competitor only participated in the last round of the RTP1 contest and did not hide her emotion.

“Miss Esperança wasn’t expecting anything. What a thrill. She wasn’t expecting anything at all, was she? Take a deep breath”, said Fernando Mendes. “I wasn’t expecting it, Fernando”, confessed the contestant in tears.

In the first game, the participant got the price of the glasses right and did not hide her emotion. In the final stretch of the contest, Esperança Pereira got the maximum score in the “Roda”.

In early November, on TVI’s “Jornal das 8”, Pedro Santos Guerreiro starred in a moment that quickly reached social networks.

During the broadcast of the “Liga Douro Champions” program on September 13, the commentators analyzed FC Porto’s defeat at home to Club Brugge, by 4-0, and Sporting’s victory against Tottenham (2-0).

During the sports program, the footer of the television channel caught the attention of viewers. “Rúben roars and Sérgio… Brugge”, could be read on the CMTV screen, in reference to Sporting’s victory and the defeat of Futebol Clube do Porto.

RTP1 presenter falls while riding a bicycle during a report

Rita Belinha, from RTP1, fell while riding her bicycle during the recording of a report for the program “Aqui Portugal”. The presenter shared the video on her Instagram account and the moment went viral on social media.

“‘Aqui Portugal’ today was in Mira. But last week I was there recording and I showed that this village really is just for athletes and that I’m not one of them. Everything is fine with me and the baby. You can laugh all you want ,” he wrote on his Instagram account.

“PS: I promise that until this child is born I will not do anything minimally risky again”, he concluded.

On SIC’s “Jornal da Noite”, in his comment space, José Milhazes said a curse word when translating the cries of revolt during a concert against the war in Ukraine.

“Do you know what they are saying? The war goes to the f*****”, said the commentator live. “I’m sorry, Clara,” he added quickly.

In the program, players were challenged to eat a watermelon in just one minute and Toy surprised colleagues and viewers.

After crushing it with his hand, the singer ate more than half a kilogram (587 g) of watermelon in just one minute.

Oops. CNN Portugal journalist says that song “Imagine” is by Elton John

During the broadcast of “Breaking News”, by CNN Portugal, Pedro Bello Moraes released a report on a group of students who got together to sing the theme “Imagine”, in solidarity with the victims of the war in Ukraine.

When introducing the piece, the journalist, by mistake, said that the song belonged to Elton John. After the report, in a joking tone, Pedro Bello Moraes corrected the error. “Of course, as we all know, this song is by José Cid, not Elton John,” he said, between smiles.

“I was wrong, it’s by John Lennon, anyway, this repair has to be done”, he concluded.

During the broadcast of “360”, by RTP3, journalists Alexandre Brito and Maria Nobre were unable to control their laughter live.
