O Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, was the protagonist of an impactful scene this Monday (2), during the match between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, for the 17th round of the NFL. The player blacked out and fell unconscious on the lawn and needed to be revived.

Damar Hamlin was taken off the pitch by ambulance. He went straight to the hospital, which was close to the stadium. The first information showed that he was conscious, but having difficulty breathing. The match between the Bills and Bengals was suspended after an hour, which generated revolt from the players and coaches of the teams, who wanted the suspension much earlier.

Current health status of Damar Hamlin

According to the NFL, Hamlin was attended to by paramedics and removed from the field, going to the hospital. The NFL also pointed out that the situation is critical and asked for prayers for the athlete.

Hamlin’s manager, Jordon Rooney, posted on Twitter that the player had his vitals back but had to be intubated and placed under sedation. He would still undergo a series of exams.

This Tuesday’s information (3) points out that the player is still in critical condition and sedated.
