Recently, Evangeline Lilly commented on the state of health and recovery of the actor. To the Access Hollywoodthe actress of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania explained that she was shocked to see how well the star of Avengers is physically after going through the tragedy.

“I was at Jeremy’s house the other night, and he was in a wheelchair. I walked in there and thought, why is he moving? What is happening? I expected to sit on the side of the bed and hold his hand as he moaned in pain not being able to move. He was moving around, laughing with his friends. He’s made of something much tougher, and you could always see that in him. He had a near-death experience that was highly traumatic, and he was awake for the whole thing. He has a long journey to go now. That’s what nightmares are made of. He lived through it, and he’s on the other side now. He’s been recovering amazingly, and I’m so happy for that,” Lilly said, adding, “he’s been recovering like a motherfucker.”
