Nadine Njeim mourns George El Rassi with these words and remembers the beginning of their acquaintance

The artist, Nadine Nassib Njeim, mourned the late artist Georges Al-Rassi, who died in a traffic accident in the early hours of Saturday.

Nadine Nassib Njeim, through her Instagram account, published photos that she collected with George Al-Rassi, and wrote her condolences, remembering how their acquaintance began on one of the special occasions of a foundation to support youth work in Lebanon.

And she said: “With your guidance, I got to know you soon, and how I was upset, and a person whose heart is very kind, gentle and respectful, and you made me laugh while I was not joking and loved life.”

And Nadine Njeim continued: “A lot of you have been defeated by your youth and your son who lost with him and your companion and daughters who lost security, may God have mercy on you and have mercy on her and may God give patience to the heart of your sister, mother and family.”

She stressed: “It is very difficult for what happened. A traffic accident is not your fault, whoever you are, the neglect of the state and the lack of responsibility burned the heart of your mother, sisters, son, and everyone who loves you.”

Nadine Nassib Njeim added, on the authority of George Al-Rassi: “There is nothing that will compensate for your loss and this will lead to heartburn and pain, but with faith, prayer and the mercy of the Lord, may God be with you and give you patience and relieve your grief, Amen, your mercy, O God.”

George Al-Rassi died in the early hours of Saturday morning, August 27, in a traffic accident after his car collided with a median barrier at the point separating the Lebanese and Syrian borders, while returning from Syria after performing a party there. He was accompanied in the car by Zina Al-Mara’bi, his work coordinator, who also died in the same accident.

Nadine Al-Rassi announced the date of the funeral and condolences of her brother, George Al-Rassi, explaining that the prayer for his soul will be held at three in the afternoon of Monday, August 29, in the Church of Saints Sargius and Bacchus the Righteous in Jbeil, and that condolences will be received on Sunday, August 28, from two in the afternoon until seven in the evening. And on Mondays from 11 pm to 7 pm.
