Who is the Brazilian chosen to be CEO of Slack after the founder’s departure

As of January, one of the main corporate communication applications will be run by a Brazilian woman. Lidiane Souza Jones, from São Paulo, was chosen to occupy the chair of CEO of Slack, currently under the responsibility of Stewart Butterfield, founder of this and other technology companies, such as Flickr.

In the announcement, made on Tuesday (7), the company said it was excited to have Lidiane as its main executive. “She has a strong customer and enterprise technology background and has been a top Salesforce leader for more than three years,” Slack said in a note to InfoMoney
