Portuguese singer Claudisabel dies in tragic accident aged 40

The singer Claudiawho was 40 years old, died early this Monday (19), as a result of a tragic car accident in Alcácer do Sal, in the district of Setúbal, in Portugal.

The singer was returning from a participation in the TV program, “Domingão”, from SIC, when her car was hit on one of the country’s roads and even overturned. The singer’s death was declared at the scene by the doctor of one of the ambulances.

“It is with deep regret, pain and sadness that we communicate the death of singer Claudisabel, after a car accident this morning. Her voice, joy and directness that characterize her make Portuguese music and everyone who had the opportunity to know her and share with her poorer”, began the statement on the actress’s note.

“We humbly ask the press not to directly contact Claudisabel’s immediate family. As soon as we have more information about the wake, funeral, it will be shared through official channels, if the family understands it”, they concluded.

It is worth remembering that, a few years ago, Claudisabel had already been the victim of a violent car accident. Although she received a medical “diagnosis” at the time that “in the future she might not be autonomous and would have to be dependent on someone”, she managed to recover.

Among Claudisabel’s biggest hits are “I’m Not Going Back to Chorar”, “It’s All Finished”, “I’m Going To Follow” or “Super Apaixonada”.
