And the Tunisian artist continued, “The photographer took the pictures, and the reason for the problem was this betrayal of the trust between us. And he violated the law by infringing on my right to the image, since I took it down and returned it as a public image, which is supposed to be for research only.”

Bin Saedan confirmed that she had appointed her lawyer to prosecute the photographer, and every person, media outlet, or other party that circulates the image and uses it without her consent.
