Today, Wednesday, Western media reports published news that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been subjected to an assassination attempt, based on a story reported by a mysterious channel on Telegram called “General SVR”, while the Kremlin has not issued a comment on the matter so far.

While the newspaper “New Zealand Herald” suggests that the “General SVR” channel is run by a former lieutenant general in the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service under the pseudonym Viktor Mikhailovich, other reports indicate that the director of the channel is a lawyer from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv called Viktor Yermolayev, but the latter had previously He denied any connection with the channel, according to the Russian English-language news website “Meduza”.

The introduction of the “General SVR” channel on YouTube shows that those responsible for it are retired and active members of the intelligence services of many countries, and that they are people who directly participated in or supervised secret operations and had access to reliable information about the events.

On the other hand, the news verification team in the American magazine “Newsweek” reported that “General SVR” did not provide any evidence to support this claim.
