Who is Prince Henry XIII?..the main suspect in the “German coup”

The morning was not usual in Germany, as I woke up to the thwarting of a coup that could be described as “the most dangerous in decades”, and it could have turned back time.

But what is remarkable about this coup attempt is that the cell that was planning the implementation was formed around a key figure, who has royal assets, namely Prince Henry XIII (also known as “Henrich” and Prince Royce).

According to reports by the newspaper “Süddeutsche Zeitung” and the networks “VD App” and “2NDR”, Henry XIII is the main suspect in the case of the attempted coup, which was thwarted by the authorities early Wednesday morning.

Real estate in the seventies

The prince, who is descended from the German Royal Royce family, is 71 years old, and is an active businessman in the field of real estate and resides in Frankfurt, central Germany.

Currently, the public prosecutor is investigating the right-wing terrorist group that planned a coup that included an attack on the Bundestag, “parliament”, the overthrow of the ruling regime, and the establishment of a new one.

The new regime, the details of which the group carefully elaborated, is built on royal foundations, and is headed, in the event of a successful coup, by Prince Henry XIII.

According to the investigation, the planned coup was to be announced in the government quarter on the radio, using a special code word.

Features of the coup.. an army and a leader

Should the planned coup succeed, the group intended to proclaim a new government, under Henry XIII and a new German army. It is reported that the group has already chosen the new army command and uniform.

Not much is known about the man, but security announced that he had been under suspicion for some time because of his adoption of conspiracy theory and extremist ideas hostile to the constitution and the German state in its current form.

Going back, specifically in January 2019, the text of a speech delivered by the “gray-haired and elegant-looking prince” can be found on a platform known as the “Global Web Forum”, an annual meeting of the “digital world” pioneers.

The meeting, which took place in Zurich, witnessed a complex theorizing of the prince, as he said that the monarchy in Germany had been destroyed by the Jewish financial industry, and that the First World War had occurred at the instigation of foreign Freemasons.

He also moved on to talk about the current Germany, describing it as “not a sovereign country”, and that its constitution is not considered a constitution and was written by the Allies after the war, to control the country.

Royal dreams

These views prompted his aristocratic family to distance themselves “in the clearest possible way” from the businessman, describing the prince in a statement years ago as “a confused sheikh who has fallen into misconceptions about conspiracy theory.”

But among the far right, and the movement of the so-called “Reichsners”, the scion of the royal family that ruled a small principality centered in the current state of Thuringia two centuries ago, has been a real figure since his appearance at the Zurich conference.

Apparently, the cries of salvation fell in the extreme right-wing scene, at the head of the “prince”, as the “citizens of the Reich” wanted the man to turn his words into actions, including returning the country to the royal era and installing Henry as king.

After his speech in Zurich in January 2019, the prince attracted the attention of the Alternative for Germany party and other far-right circles, and even politicians from the party represented in Parliament contacted him after the speech.

The end of the dream?

After a year of intense activity in building a cell that included a former judge and member of parliament, current and former army officers, and far-right politicians, the head of the cell received; Henry welcomed unexpected visitors to his Frankfurt home and his mansion in Bad Laubenstein on Wednesday.

At six o’clock in the morning, prosecutors and officials from the Office of the Federal Criminal Police and elements of the Special Unit of the Federal Police arrived at these premises, bearing an arrest warrant for the emir on suspicion of “forming a terrorist organization”.

Investigators believe that Prince Henry is the central figure in a right-wing network of Reichswehrs and conspiracy theorists that apparently set the overthrow of the political system in the Federal Republic as a main goal of the investigation.

This plan was complex and represented a real threat, because it included former and current army officers. Indeed, the barracks of the German Army Special Forces Command, located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, were searched in raids that took place in several states and countries, on Wednesday, to dismantle the cell, and 25 people were arrested out of 51 suspects.

The group surrounding Prince Henry is being investigated on suspicion of forming a terrorist organization and planning a serious act of violence that endangers the state.

According to the German newspaper “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, it is possible that the measures to control the cell carried out by the Federal Public Prosecutor and the police are one of the largest measures to protect the state in the history of the Federal Republic.

According to security circles, today’s raids constitute an unprecedented blow to the group of Reich citizens, which represents the largest vessel for the group that planned the coup.
