Raymond Charles McAllister
April 25, 1946 – September 1, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray McAllister of Regina, SK. Ray passed away peacefully with his family by his side, after a brief but valiant battle with Cancer.
Ray is survived by his loving wife Joan of 49 years; sounds Desmond (Lystra), Charles (Angie), and Ryan; grandchildren Milana, Ava, and Aryan; brothers-in-law Chuck Kennedy, Albert Gervais, Don Antoniuk and Harry Ramdass; sister-In-Law Stella Harripersad; as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, USA, and Trinidad. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Jean McAllister; siblings Patricia Kennedy, Frances (Frankie) Gervais, Roberta (Bobbie) McAllister, Phyllis Antoniuk, and John (Jackie) McAllister.
Ray was born in Fillmore, SK. He spent most of his days in Regina, where he met his wife, Joan. Ray worked as a Millwright at Ipsco Inc. / Evraz Steel for 35 years. He was a hard-working man who was devoted to his family and friends and was always the life of the party. Ray was actively involved with the Caribbean Community, loved to fish and take care of his yard and beautiful garden. He was admired and loved by the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
