GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the hierarchical supervision of the electrical maintenance supervisor, the class 1 electrician is responsible for carrying out installation, construction, modification and electrical maintenance work.
SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, construction, rehabilitation, modification, repair and maintenance work on all infrastructure and electrical equipment on the mine site
- Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance on the infrastructure and electrical equipment of the mining site
- Maintain the workplace in an orderly, clean and safe state
- Apply and respect all norms, regulations, standards, codes and laws in force at Eldorado Gold and in Quebec
- Any other activities that his superior may entrust to him.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum hold a DEP in electricity. Preferably a DEC in electrical engineering or instrumentation and control
- Hold an electrician’s C license
- Have more than 5 years of experience in their class of experience in similar functions, in a mining environment
- Possess modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the FMTM training
- Be prepared to take training
- Knowledge of systems such as Imagine, LTE, VOD, ADE (Asset)
