The World Team Challenge 2022 is taking place in the Veltins Arena today. SPOX shows you who shows / broadcasts the biathlon event live on TV and live stream.
The majority of biathletes are currently enjoying a break from the World Cup, but a total of 20 professionals are still in action this Wednesday, December 28th, as part of the World Team Challenge at Schalke. The competition lives up to its name and returns to the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen after two years. Due to corona, the Chiemgau Arena in Ruhpolding, Bavaria, has served as a competition site in recent years.
The World Team Challenge is a mixed competition in which one man and one woman form a team. There are ten teams in total, Germany is sending two into the race. Benedikt Doll and Denise Herrmann-Wick make up Team 1, Philipp Nawrath and Vanessa Voigt make up Team 2.
At 6.15 p.m. the mass start will be completed first, followed by the pursuit at 7.30 p.m.

A public broadcaster has secured the broadcasting rights for the Biathlon World Team Challenge again this year. While it was still the last year ARD was broadcasting the race, this time it is ZDF.
At 6 p.m. the broadcast of the mass start will begin, at 7.20 p.m. the pursuit will be shown. In both cases it is ZDF-Staff from:

- Expert: Sven Fischer and Laura Dahlmeier
