The public prosecutor ordered a blood and urine test and his driver’s license was taken from him on the spot. Two other drivers were slightly injured and taken to the university hospital for further investigation.

The Black Forest tunnel was completely closed for two hours, which led to large backlogs from France and Germany. At 5:00 p.m., one of the lanes was reopened and a full opening is expected around 7:00 p.m.

Police advise avoiding the area on a large scale. There are big backlogs from France and Germany. According to the police report, one lane has now been reopened. The police are still working at the scene of the accident.
