Security cameras at the Hotel Travel Inn, at Ibirapuera, in São Paulo, filmed Lucas assaulting the teenager.

According to the Civil Police, the suspect lives in Curitiba (PR) and his testimony will be collected by means of a precatory letter, as well as from the victim and witnesses who live in Rio de Janeiro.

“Images of the internal circuit of the place were requested. The reports from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) are in preparation and, once concluded, will be analyzed by the police authority to assist in clarifying the facts”, said the note from the Civil Police.

Lucas Rolim Valoni, 27, is a resident of Curitiba, Paraná, where he works as a resident physician in the 3rd year of General Surgery at the Cajuru University Hospital (HUC), located in the Cristo Rei neighborhood. He graduated from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

According to those responsible for the Travel Inn hotel, Lucas is a permanent resident of the establishment, having rented one of the rooms directly from the owner of the flat. However, the hotel management informed that he is prevented from returning to the unit until the case is clarified.

The assaults took place on Tuesday night (20), on the 10th floor of the Hotel Travel Inn, at Ibirapuera, in São Paulo, where Lucas was filmed slapping and slapping the teenager.

Lucas appears out of control and holds the young man by the shirt, while pressing the boy against the wall. He manages to immobilize the boy with one arm, while giving a sequence of slaps to the face and head.

Then, still with the young man immobilized, Lucas takes the slipper and hits the young man’s face and head again. Finally, after managing to get rid of Lucas, the student receives one last blow to the head.

Physical aggression lasts approx. 20 seconds. Then Lucas continues yelling at the young man, forcing him to go back to his room.

In contact with TV Globo, the boy’s mother said she was angry. She hopes the attacker is arrested.

“He beat up my son in the hallway of a hotel he was staying during a trip. There were 14-year-old children playing, laughing in the hallway, he opened the bedroom door, bothered by the noise, and took the first one that appeared, which was my son, who at the time was even taking his friend away, taking him to the room, and slapped him a lot in the face, slapped his face, slapped his body, even threw a rear naked choke against the wall”, said the mother. of the young man.

In a statement, Escola Eliezer Max reported that as soon as it learned of the incident, it sent a director to São Paulo to monitor the case and support the student who was attacked.

“The school is focused on ensuring the safety of the student and the group and works with the family to hold the aggressor accountable”, read an excerpt from the note.

Hotel Travel Inn also commented on the case and informed that it gave full support to the victim and that it has been collaborating with the investigations.

“Regarding the case of aggression that occurred on the premises of the Travel Inn Ibirapuera hotel, Rede Travel Inn clarifies that as soon as it was informed of the occurrence, it took all measures to welcome and protect the student who was attacked.

The hotel manager offered to give all the necessary support in forwarding and reporting the aggressor to the Civil Police, as well as following up with those responsible for the minor in testimony at the police station.

To contribute to the investigations, after the complaint was made, the Travel Inn Ibirapuera hotel presented the images of the security cameras of the place to the police, in addition to collaborating with the authorities for any other information, if necessary.
