Based on Ben Macintyre’s bestselling book of the same name, Rogue Heroes is a dramatic account of how the world’s largest Special Forces unit, the SAS, was formed under extraordinary circumstances in the darkest days of World War II.
Cairo, 1974. David Stirling, an eccentric young officer hospitalized after a training exercise gone wrong, is not happy. Convinced that traditional commando units don’t work, he creates a radical plan that goes against all accepted rules of modern military life. He fights for permission to recruit the toughest, bravest and brightest soldiers into a small undercover unit with the aim of wreaking havoc behind enemy lines.
More rebels than soldiers, Stirling’s team is as complicated, flawed and reckless as it is surprisingly brave and heroic.

The series stars Connor Swindells (“Sex Education”, “Vigil”) who plays David Stirling, Jack O’Connell (“Skins”, “The North Water”) as Paddy Mayne, Alfie Allen (“Jojo Rabbit”, “ Game of Thrones”) as Jock Lewes and Sofia Boutella (“Modern Love,” “Atomic Blonde”) as Eve. Dominic West (“The Wire,” “Appropriate Adult”) plays Lieutenant Colonel Wrangel Clarke.
