The daughter of former US President Donald Trump, Tiffany Trump, is preparing for her wedding to her Lebanese-born fiancé, Michael Paul.
And the American magazine “People” reported that the relationship of Tiffany, the youngest of Trump’s daughters, with the Lebanese businessman of Lebanese origin, Paul, became public when the official account of the White House in 2019 published a picture of Tiffany with Paul in the Red Room.
A Source told the magazine that the first meeting of Tiffany and Paul was at the club of American actress Lindsay Lohan in Greece.
Paul, the son of a wealthy family with businesses in Nigeria, proposed to Tiffany in January 2021.
According to the magazine, both Paul and Tiffany come from wealthy families and well-known fathers. The Paulus family established Squaw in Nigeria
Paul also owns a Nigeria-based private company that distributes and trades commercial motorcycles, electric bikes, tricycles and outboard motors, and is the sole importer and distributor of Suzuki products in Nigeria.
Paul’s family is of Lebanese origin, but he grew up in the Nigerian capital, Lagos,
Tiffany Paul first introduced her family to the Trump family’s Thanksgiving Mar-a-Lago Thanksgiving dinner in 2018.
Since getting to know the Bidens, Paul has spent a lot of time with the Tiffany family. He shared a photo of him and Tiffany smiling behind Trump in the Oval Office in December 2020 and posted several photos with her half-brothers – Don, Junior, Ivanka and Eric.
Paul also met Tiffany’s mother, actress Marla Maples, and posed for photos sitting front row at New York Fashion Week with her in 2019.
In a farewell letter to her father before he left office in January 2021, Tiffany announced that she and Paul are engaged.
A year after their engagement, Tiffany published photos of Paul’s proposal to her, in which he presented her with a diamond ring worth $1.2 million.
After Tiffany graduated from Georgetown University Law School in May 2020, the couple are expected to reside in Miami, not far from other Trump family members. Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner live in the area, while Donald Trump Jr and fiancée Kimberly Gilfoyle have bought a home in North Palm Beach County, and former President and First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron live at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.
A Source told People magazine, “She and Michael chose Miami because it’s multicultural. They want to get married in Greece and there might be a party there with another party here in the States.”
The Source added that the two discussed the wedding arrangements. Tiffany loves Greek Mykonos and wants to marry there, and if there is another ceremony in the United States, it may be in Mar-a-Lago.”
