Twin sister accuses climate radicals |
Sandra died in the concrete mixer accident
Berlin – Sandra Umann († 44) from Berlin dedicated her life to protecting nature.
She shared the goals of climate activists, avoided driving and founded a vegan, sustainable fashion label with her twin sister, which was celebrated by many celebrities.
Sandra Umann was the cyclist who was run over by a cement mixer on her bicycle ten days ago in Berlin and later died. A rescue vehicle from the fire brigade could not get through because a road was closed due to climate extremists (BILD reported).
At spiegel.de, the twin sister of the dead now accuses the climate chaos!
“Ignorant Climate Activists”
Anya Uman…
►… about the reason why she is looking for the public: “Because I read in the reports how ignorant some climate activists accept the death of people who may work for environmental protection and other people themselves.”
►… about indications that the blockade may not have any influence on the rescue: “It does not change the fact that this vehicle did not have the opportunity to be on site earlier due to the blockade. The fact that it was obstructed is still there.”
▶︎… about what she feels now: “Infinite emptiness. Unbearable pain. Darkness. My sister and I were deprived of our common future. But I deliberately don’t want to look back on last Monday and trigger a discussion about the guilty or the innocent.”
“I would ask you to reconsider your methods”
Anja Umann says the activists should know what their statements trigger in her: “It’s not anger, but it’s stab wounds.”
What would the dead woman’s sister like to say to the activists? “I think I’d just like to tell them what I’ve experienced and then give them a chance to go into that hell. To consider whether there might not be another way to fight for the survival of our planet without possibly harming other people. I would ask them to reconsider their methods.”
