How long are the shops open on Sunday, December 18th, 2022 in Berlin and Brandenburg?
Most shops and shopping centers invite you to go shopping on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. But there are exceptions. For example, the shops in the Mall of Berlin are open until 8 p.m. The KaDeWe is also open for you today until 8 p.m., as is the department store Galeries Lafayette. The Ikea branch in Berlin Tempelhof, for example, is open for sale until 7:30 p.m.
Shopping Sunday in Berlin on December 18th, 2022 to buy Christmas presents
A shopping Sunday in Berlin is a good opportunity to go shopping with the whole family. And today, December 18th, 2022, many shops are open in Berlin. Hardly any retailer wants to miss out on the Christmas sales. Many Berliners will use the 4th Advent to buy Christmas presents. Perfume, books, mobile phones and consumer electronics will once again be at the top of many wish lists this year.
However, many Berliners will take the cold snap in the last few days, with temperatures down to minus 12 degrees, as an opportunity to buy one or the other piece of warm clothing.

And next year you can look forward to a few shopping Sundays in the region. The first city-wide shopping Sunday in Berlin will probably be January 29, 2023. On this Sunday, the shops are then allowed to open on the occasion of the International Green Week. And on March 5th, 2023, for example, the A10 Center Wildau will be open.
